Finding the right place to stay on holiday can be a real pain for families especially if there are children of different ages. From self catering breaks through to hotels close to theme parks there are so many choices, so when we were told about Awaywiththekids we decided to put together a quick review of their website.
About The Site
Awaywiththekids is slightly different from most holiday websites as it is only aimed at families with children. It lists places to stay or go to throughout the UK (and some overseas) and has a handy key for every location that identifies everything from baby sitting services through to if the place has toys and books provided.
Taking a quick tour around the site you can choose the type of holiday you are looking for in a number of ways; either by the main navigation which breaks down everything from Hotels to camper van hire, or by the regional search facility which we really liked. In addition the website also has a number of other areas including where to go suggestions as well as family friendly places to eat.
What We Think
Here at What’s Good On The Web we think that Awaywiththekids is a really great website for families hunting for the right holiday here in the UK. It is very easy to use and the handy key to facilities is spot on. With more and more families choosing to holiday in the UK every year we think that this site will continue to grow and we’d suggest that if you have a holiday home or run a hotel that is child friendly you get yourself listed on the site.
