For many students leaving university this year the job market will be just that little bit more difficult and they will have to go that extra mile to secure the position they really want. When we were told about Bright Network, a new social network for graduate job seekers, we therefore thought we’d better put together a review that may just assist some of our graduate readers (or parents).
About The Website
The aim of Bright Network is to match graduates and companies more efficiently than just a normal recruitment website. The site allows both sides to engage with each other and learn more as well as promoting new events or seminars. Unlike other social networks it is not aimed at being a “what I did last night” site but instead allows users to promote themselcves to key employers as well as see opportunities as they arise.
Employers can list vacancies and also search the graduates on the site to match their requirements allowing them to pre screen and also find the best fit for their business.
What We Think
With a difficult job market at the moment we think Bright Network is a very good idea. It helps graduates find employment opportunities that may not be on other recruitment sites and helps employers reduce the time they spend weeding out non suitable candidates.
If you are a graduate looking for a first step on the career ladder we’d suggest you get social with Bright Network
