This year the staycation has been one of the popular holiday destinations and one of the most beautiful places in the UK is The Lake District (Sorry to all those that disagree) so when we were asked to review the Lake District National Park website we thought we should. The area is famous for its natural beauty, walks and on the lake activities.
About The Site
Set up by the Lake District National Park Authority the site is probably the first stop for anyone who is looking at visiting the Lake District. It lists everything from local events through to facts and figures about the region. The website is easy to navigate and to be honest you do get lost looking at some of the images and with so much information available you will spend quite a bit of time on the site.
What We Think
The Lake District National Park website has been put together very well with loots of information. It’s relatively easy to navigate around and we found everything we needed quickly. We’d strongly recommend anyone who is visiting the Lake District to take a look at the site and use it as a good guide to planning a visit.
