More people than ever before are now looking at renting accommodation rather than buying because of either fears over job security or just not being able to raise the right deposit. Because of this a new website has sprung up aimed at connecting tenants with each other as well as support groups and housing associations. Called the Tenantbook the site aims to be the place where tenants get together online to discuss issues and share ideas.
About The Site
At first look the site is very similar to other well known social networks, users have profiles and there are also group pages for discussions etc. The difference with Tenantbook is that it is more private than the open social networks and enables groups such as housing associations to communicate directly with their tenants.
What We Think
Initially when we started putting together this website review of Tenantbook we questioned the need for yet another social network (Yet more logins and passwords to remember) but the more and more we dug around the site we found that the discussions remained relevant to the audience and it was a very good place for people to share ideas and comment on issues. All in all we think the site is a good one as it clearly meets the needs of Tenants and other groups.
