As nearly all of us now have a digital camera on our phone the number of photographs we take has grown massively but to be honest some of them really aren’t that interesting. So when we were told about a pretty good website that allows you to turn an ordinary photo into a mosaic called Zumyn we thought we better put together a review of it.
About The Website
The Zumyn website is pretty easy to use – you basically upload a photo which they call the target – this is what you want the final image to look like – and then begin adding other photographs that you want the mosaic to be made up with. There site has some pretty good illustrations of this and one of the most popular is the wedding mosaic. Basically the final mosaic is made up of all the photographs of the wedding day.
Once you have uploaded all the images their website does some wizardry and creates the final image which if you like it you can order online. Because the image is made up of smaller images the quality of print used is very high and they offer a range of sizes and styles.
What We Think
Although the final mosaic images from Zumyn are may seem quite pricey (starting at £39.99) we think that for a special gift or memory this is not bad value.
If you are interested in getting a mosaic produced we’d suggest that you give th site a try – you only have to pay if you order the image so it’s well worth seeing what the results may be.

Have you ever noticed that one of the biggest topics of conversation for any parent is their childrens sleep habits. From waking up in the middle of the night through to not getting that mid afternoon nap the conversations seem to go on and on as parents swap hints and tips. Therefore when we heard about a pretty good website that has all the latest (and even oldest) hints and tips all in one place we thought we better review the website – sleepytot.com
Rather than do a review we thought we would give a quick mention to a great charity and one of their latest fundraising initiatives – NSPCCWishes.org.uk. The site is aimed at providing a fun way to raise money for the organisation by offering you the chance to nominate someone to receive a letter from Santa Clause.
With so many people buying online these days there have been a number of companies that started up to compete with the Royal Mail for delivery of items from retailers. As these companies have grown they have developed a network that rivals the Royal Mail and are now offering services direct to the consumer whether you want a parcel delivered to your Granny or just someone to send something you have sold on eBay. One of these companies is My Hermes and we thought it would be worth giving them a quick review as they offer a value for money service that stops you having to go to the Post Office.
