It is true to say that the housing market is a little flat at the moment (excuse the pun) but there are still plenty of people looking to move house either by buying or renting but before they do they want a little bit more information. We’ve decided to review Zoopla which is one of the leading house information websites on the internet and what’s more its free !!!

Taking a look around Zoopla any visitor will see that it is both well laid out and easy to use with different sections depending on what you are looking for. The main areas are for sale; to rent; home values; and sold prices. The for sale and to rent sections are very easy to use and you just select the area and criteria you are looking for and it delivers a list of suitable houses. The bit we were most interested in (and I’m sure many of us love to see) are the home values and sold prices sections. These give excellent information on what you could expect to get for your home if you were selling and also an up to date list of sales in your area which can help you see if there is demand for your type of house.
What We Think
Zoopla is a well established website with lots of things on it and is very up to date which is always important. We found it easy to use and well laid out and think it is should be number one on anyone’s list of websites to visit if you are selling or renting a home. Alternatively if you just want to be nosy check out how much houses in your area sell for ….. it’s very interesting.
