We all know that the World’s largest auction site lists millions of items from homes down to little widgets but have you ever tried to find something you really want on the site? After trawling through pages and pages of listings in a category you may be lucky to find what you want but then have someone outbid you for it.
There are now a growing number of auction websites that have launched which are aimed at niche market areas and one of the is Ebabee, exclusively designed for people to sell old and unwanted baby items so that’s why we thought we’d put together a quick website review.
About The Site
Ebabee is a specialist online auction website that puts sellers of baby clothes in touch with buyers – items listed include everything from prams to clothes. The site is set up in a way which will be familiar to any of the larger auction site users (Sorry we don’t want to name them as they get too many plugs!!!) and there are fees payable by the sellers of the products. The difference which many will find interesting is that there is no charge for listing a product and the actual seller fees are significantly lower than other sites.
What We Think
We think the idea behind Ebabee is very good as it takes a niche auction area and sticks to it. The number of items listed on the site is a bit limited at the moment but this is probably because they have only been going for a few months but the value for money aspect will no doubt attract both private sellers and businesses fairly soon.
Ebabee is not a giant killer just yet, but as consumers want to be able to access what they want quickly online we think that this site will start to grow and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a number of other niche auction sites popping up as well.
If you have a few minutes, liked our review, and are looking for new items for your baby, or even want a no risk way of selling some old stuff, we’d suggest you give Ebabee a visit – Visit the Ebabee website
