Iomart gets child safety kitemark

Iomart Group, has been awarded the UK’s first BSI Kitemark for child safety online.

Tim Loughton, Minister for Children and Families, announced the certification today during his keynote speech in London at the BETT Show, the biggest educational technology exhibition in the world.

The Kitemark for Child Safety Online has been developed through collaboration between The British Standards Institution (BSI) – one of the UK’s foremost certification companies – the Home Office, Ofcom and representatives from ISPs and application developers.

In support of the GB Womens Volleyball team a new website called DoesMyBumLookBigInThis.com has been launched to encourage people to feel better about themselves by eating a balanced diet and by doing plenty of exercise.

The website, which has been put together in partnership with Tesco, also has lots of challenges designed to get peoploe to do something different including trying sports, lifestyle activities or products that may not have been considered previously.

As an additional bonus by taking part in the challenges perticipants who sign up for the diet plans could be in with a chance to train with the team in their bid to win a medal in 2012.

Domain leasing website gets a facelift

Premium domain leasing website, Domains.co.uk, has announced the launch of their brand new website for 2011. The website, which allows customers to search for and rent premium domain names includes a host of new features including an upgraded search function and case studies of some of their latest users.
