This is definetly a site for all those fitness fanatics who want to know how far they have travelled when they go for a quick run or a walk.
Walkjogrun uses google maps / earth to plan a route for your run as well as see other routes that have been planned by people in your area.
The best way to use the site is first of all take a look at the routes that other people have planned and then decide how far you want to go and if any of the routes are similar to the ones you want to use. You can then set your start point and navigate around to set check points for the route.
Although the site is a little slow and not that intuitive it is a great way to plan an excercise campaign and gives you a much better idea of how you are doing over a period of time if you time yourself.
We have rated this site as two star because as yet there is very little community interaction and it’s not that easy to use at first.
